HARDLAND Men's Tactical Cargo Shorts

Really like the design which includes the deepest pockets that I have ever experienced (I don't like shallow pockets because things fall out). Also like the separate mini-pocket for a knife plus the plastic D-ring tab on one side and a cloth tab on the other side, for keys, a biker wallet, or whatever. These are not cheap, and shipping is very slow, but they are very good shorts.

I've tried others like 5.11 and the material on these Hard Land seem to strike the right balance of being strong and tough without being too scratch, stiff and uncomfortable. I've been using a pair of their long pants for USPSA competition and with Summer here needed a short pair to stay cool but still wear well and fit well. These are perfect. I'm 6ft 0in tall and normally wear a 32" leg for long pants, the 9.5" inseam is just about right -- falling just above my knee -- any longer and they'd be too long (for me) since I don't want that uncomfortable feeling pulling over my knee when you sit. I normally look for about a 9" inseam on shorts. So for those with shorter legs you might consider something shorter if this bothers you.

I own Tac Shorts from 4 different brands/manufacturers. The HARD LAND shorts (I have 2 pairs) are by far the best. Very comfortable, durable, and with plenty of space for all my EDC gear. Special nod to the placement and design of the pockets - they are very ergonomically thought out and are intuitive. I love the extended pull lanyards on the lower pockets...makes getting the goodies inside instantaneous, which is great in case a "situation" should pop up.

As some one else already said, these shorts are exact size. A 32 is 32, a 34 is 34. If you need 33, buy the 34. There is a tiny bit of stretch to the waist, but not much. The quality of the zippers and the material is high quality and I'm pretty sure these shorts will last a good while. The other good thing is that the metal items don't set of the TSA metal detector alarm at the airport.
